What will happen to my parcel if nobody is in?

The delivery driver will try first of all to leave your parcel with a neighbour (signed). If this isn’t possible, then our logistics partner will leave you a collection card and take the parcel to the nearest parcel depot.

Either way, the delivery driver will always leave a card with information for the recipient. If you are not at home after a second attempt, the parcel will be kept for you for nine working days and then returned to Hinscha. This only occurs very occasionally, but if it does happen, you will need to get in touch with us to arrange a new delivery. The costs of the new delivery will be billed to you. Prevention is better than cure! Make sure you specify an address where there will be someone available during office hours to receive the parcel. For example, this might be your work address, or somewhere where a family member is at home.
