These Bloc-O-Lift (or Blocolift) gas springs are designed for applications where both free adjustment and position locking are required. This type of gas spring includes a valve system that opens or closes via a locking pin. When the pin is fully extended, the piston rod remains locked in the desired position – even under load. This allows a lid, backrest, seat, or other element to be fixed precisely where needed.
Bloc-O-Lift gas springs are widely used in office chairs (backrest adjustment), hospital beds (height adjustment), treatment chairs, industrial panels, adjustable tables, and other environments where ergonomics and safety are important.
